Residents get chance to speak to local police

A SERIES of meetings and surgeries are being held by police for residents in New Mills, Hayfield, Gamesley and Charlesworth areas.

Officers from the areas Safer Neighbourhood policing teams organise quarterly meetings to give local residents and partner organisations such as local councils, the fire service and housing associations the chance to help set priorities.

They will take place at:

New Mills: The New Mills and Hayfield Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team is holding their meeting at New Mills Youth and Community Centre, Longlands Road at 10am on Thursday, January 5.

Gamesley: The Gamesley and Charlesworth Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team is holding their meeting at Gamesley Residents Association, Winster Mews, at 1.30pm on Wednesday, January 11.

Residents in Hayfield will also have the chance to drop-in and speak to officers about any issues or concerns at a drop-in surgery between 5.30pm and 7.30pm on Tuesday, January 10 at Hayfield Parish Council. No appointment is necessary.
