Repair work to start on Taddington bypass

RESURFACING work on the A6 Taddington bypass is due to start tonight (Monday).

The £300,000 repair scheme, being undertaken by Derbyshire County Council, will be carried out between 7pm and 6am each night for around two weeks, except at weekends.

Improvements will be carried out along a 1.2 mile stretch between the junction with Hollow o’ the Moor and the junction with Main Street at the eastern end of the village.

One side of the carriageway will remain closed to allow work to take place while the opposite side remains open to traffic, controlled by temporary traffic lights.
