IT’S a case of revvy, steady, go for members of a Buxton scooter club who are gearing up for a charity challenge next week.

Ten members of the Blacksheep Scooter Club are taking part in a 280-mile coast to coast charity scooter run to raise money for Buxton Volunteer Centre and Ashgate Hospice, setting off on April 5 from St Bees and finishing at Robin Hood’s Bay April 8.

One of the organisers, Nick Marshall, from Chapel-en-le-Frith, said: “Buxton Volunteer Centre have helped me a lot because both my mum and dad have dementia and their support and advice has been fantastic.

“And we all know someone who has been affected by cancer so that’s why we wanted to support Ashgate Hospice.
