Chapel-en-le-Frith’s War Memorial, in the Market Place will be re-dedicated on Friday, November 11.
The service follows extensive restoration work, which includes the addition of the names of those who lost their lives during the Second World War.
The Parish Council Chairman will welcome the Lord Lieutenant of Derbyshire, Mr William Tucker, to unveil a plaque following a service of re-dedication and remembrance commencing at 10.45am.
The Service will be conducted by local clergy and wreaths will be laid by the Chairman of the Parish Council, Lord Lieutenant of Derbyshire, Civic Guests and the Royal British Legion.
Chapel-en-le-Frith Parish Council are trying to trace relatives of those whose names appear on the War Memorial.
