The Inner Wheel Club of Buxton is to hold at coffee morning at the Methodist Church, tomorrow, Thursday November 8, from 10.30am to noon, in aid of two charities.
The funds raised will go to support the work of the Helen Atkin Riding for the Disabled Group and the Rotary’s End Polio Now Campaign.
The event will have various stalls selling toys, games and gifts, as well as homemade cakes.
If you are unable to go along on the day but would like to make a donation, contact Pat Hopkins on 01298 23359.
Set up in 1987, the Helen Atkin Riding for the Disabled Group, based at Buxton Riding Centre, provides horse riding sessions to those with a variety of disabilities, supported by a team of dedicated volunteers. All funds donated are used entirely for the riders needs.
The Rotary Campaign supports efforts to completely eradicate polio across the world.
