Quality standard

Derbyshire County Council has renewed its support for disabled children and their families by signing up to a new national quality standard.

The ‘Every Disabled Child Matters’ charter was developed by children’s charity, the National Children’s Bureau.

Derbyshire has signed up to the charter since it was first launched four years ago and is now adopting the newly updated charter.

It confirms commitments the council has made in providing clear information to families and involving disabled children and young people in decisions that might affect them.
