OVARIAN cancer sufferer Eilish Hoole, from Buxton, put her best foot forward to take part in a 10k fundraising walk.

Eilish joined members of her family on Target Ovarian Cancer’s Walk For One Million in the grounds of Knebworth House stately home, and together they have so far raised £1,500 towards the charity’s work to improve survival rates.

The mother-of-five, who is living with ovarian cancer and campaigning for better awareness of its symptoms, said: “It was a really good day and the camaraderie was fantastic - we all had a great laugh singing Queen songs as we went along!”

She added: “I’d like to say a huge thank-you to everyone for their continued support.”
