A public inquiry into the High Peak’s long-awaited local plan will begin next week.
The examination of the vital document, which will shape the way the borough develops until 2031, begins on Tuesday, at Bradbury House in Glossop.
As well as hearings involving key stakeholders, there will also be discussions about specific sites.
Among those set to take part are High Peak Borough Council, the Friends of the Peak District and the Peak District National Park Authority.
Hearings begin at 10am on January 13 with the Inspector’s opening remarks, followed by an introduction to the local plan by the borough council.
