REVISED plans for the much-awaited redevelopment of the Crescent into a 79-bedroomed hotel and spa complex are to go before planners on Monday.

High Peak Borough Council’s Development Control Committee is to hold their meeting in the Pavilion Gardens on September 26 at 1.30pm.

The application includes changes to the basement, the proposed first floor extension above The Natural Baths and an alteration to the St Anne’s courtyard.

The proposals include nine retail units, restoration of the natural baths and a visitor centre providing access to a tour of rooms including the Assembly Rooms.

The Tourist Information Centre is no longer part of the scheme and is to remain in the Pavilion Gardens.
