Council post filled

COUNCILLOR Chris Furness has been elected unopposed to represent Derbyshire Dales District Council’s Bradwell ward. Cllr Furness fills a vacancy created by the death of Janet Goodison, a long-serving member of the District Council, in October last year.

A former member of Bradwell Parish Council, and its Chairman for three years, Cllr Furness was Chair of Governors of Bradwell Infants School for five years.
