Derbyshire County Council has earmarked £150,000 to refurbish the traffic lights at the junction of the A53 St John’s Road with Macclesfield Road at Burbage.

An extra £60,000 is to be spent on resurfacing Anncroft Road, while road patching work will be carried out on Summer Cross in Tideswell.

Part of a £35 million package of road improvements in 2013/14, the work is scheduled to be carried out this month.
