Police warning after sat nav thefts

Police are warning people to be on their guard if they are offered low-price goods for sale as several electrical items have been stolen in Buxton recently.

A sat nav was stolen from a car parked on the driveway of a house in Tongue Lane on July 15 while a device was taken from a car parked in Queen’s Road the following day.

Both sat navs were recovered when officers searched a house in Elizabeth Avenue on July 18. A 29–year–old woman was given a caution for handling stolen goods.
