People across the High Peak turned out in force on Remembrance Sunday to pay their respects.

Services were held at memorials in towns and villages across the area to honour those whose lives have been affected by war.

In Buxton, large crowds gathered at the Cenotaph, on The Slopes, for a service led by the Revs John Hudghton and Andrew Parker. Among the civic dignitaries in attendance were Deputy Lieutenant Michael Hall and High Peak Mayor Stewart Young.

Afterwards, Fairfield Band led a parade along Terrace Road and through The Crescent for a gathering at the Pavilion Gardens.
