A woman has been treated for injuries following a serious collision on a Derbyshire road.

Police are investigating the incident on June 8 at around 3pm as she crossed Sheffield Road in Glossop and was hit by a Ford Fiesta.

Officers said: "She was knocked unconscious and suffered concussion, damaged tendons, cuts and bruises. Her injuries were treated at Tameside Hospital.

Officers investigating a collision in Glossop have now appealed for any witnesses, and anyone who can officer CCTV footage to come forward.

They added: "Anyone who witnessed the collision, has any CCTV images of the area or has any information about the incident should contact PC Julie Shaw on 101 quoting incident number 728/09/06/16.
