Cycling challenge the Peak District 100 will take place in the Derbyshire Dales on June 15 in aid of children’s charity Action Medical Research.
Riders can sign up for a choice of three routes, cool, 41 miles, classic, 74 miles, and champion, 100 miles, setting out from the HSBC Sports Club in Dore, Sheffield.
Challenging climbs on the longer routes include up Mam Nick from Edale and then all three climb up from Froggatt on the way back. Longer routes also pass through the Hope and Goyt Valleys.
This event is part of the charity’s popular RIDE100 series of one-day bike rides. All include chip timing, food and water stations, lunch, marshals and mechanics.
Cyclists participating in the Peak District 100 will be raising money to help fund medical research into conditions affecting babies and children. For more information and to register, visit action.org.uk/peakdistrict.
