Mums and tots from a Buxton nursery braved damp and wet conditions and stepped up to the plate to raise money for a charity close to their hearts.
They joined the staff from Rhyme and Reason Day Nursery for a sponsored one-hour toddle around the Pavilion Gardens in Buxton, so far raising £730 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities in Manchester.
Ella Armitt, manager of Rhyme and Reason, said: “We picked the charity because it has benefitted some of the families at the nursery. We had a good turnout and it went really well, despite the weather.”
Ronald McDonald House Charities provides free ‘home away from home’ accommodation to families while their child is in hospital.
