Police are investigating after an historic church was vandalised.
St Anne’s Church, in Bath Road, Buxton, was entered between 10am and 5pm on Friday, April 26.
Vandals threw communion wafers around, drew graffiti on a wall and damaged the collection box among other things.
The church will remain closed during the day until further notice, apart from for services.
Anyone with information about the vandalism is urged to contact Derbyshire Police on 101.
