A new grant for initiatives which will make a difference to local communities and the natural environment has been launched.

The £2,500 Get Better with Nature Community Grant was launched by Nestle Waters at a community forum held in Buxton and is part of a campaign run by Nestle and Derbyshire Wildlife Trust to inspire locals to make a positive contribution to their environment.

Sian Chapman of Nestle, said: “The grant provides small, one-off grants to support a range of local, community-based initiatives that demonstrate the two way relationship between us and our environment and the value nature can bring – however big or small – to communities, health and wellbeing.”
