Police are urging residents to secure their vehicles after a number of thefts.
Several insecure cars were broken into between Saturday, October 6 and Tuesday, October 9 in Chapel-en-le-Frith.
A number of items were stolen ranging from tools to satellite navigation systems.
Sgt Tim Barlow from Chapel-en-le-Frith Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “We would like to remind residents to always secure their vehicle and to never leave valuables on display.
“Do not leave valuables in the glove compartment as this is the first place thieves will look.”
