Year five students from High Peak primary schools enjoyed a morning of maths fun as Chapel-en-le-Frith High School held its annual Primary Maths Challenge.

The activities, organised by Curriculum Learning Manager for Maths Rob Scother, gave the children chance to try out a wide range of maths activities, applying and using their skills. They worked in teams to try and solve a range of puzzles, assisted by year ten students at the Long Lane school, who were impressed at their imagination and creativity as well as their maths.
