Man robbed on Glossop footpath

A man was pushed to the floor and forced to hand over his wallet in a robbery that took place in the daytime on a footpath in Glossop.

The 27-year-old victim was walking along a footpath leading from the A57 at Dinting to the Dinting train station.

Three men approached him and, as he passed, one of them punched him to the side of the head.

He fell to the floor and was then told to hand over any valuables. He gave the men his wallet and they walked off towards Dinting Lane Industrial Estate.

The robbery happened between 8am and 8.30am on Tuesday, April 21.
