Developer Barratt Homes is due to begin work this month on the construction of over 100 houses in a High Peak town.
The company is expecting all 105 houses on the Manchester Road development in Chapel-en-le-Frith to be completed by 2017.
The new site will comprise a mixture of three and four bedroom homes and follows on from the site at Becket’s Brow in the town.
Barratt Homes sales manager, Lee Bowers, said: “Our existing development in Chapel-en-le-Frith has been really well received by the local community and has proved to be a huge success.
“The new development will build on that success.
“Prices at the development mean it will appeal to potential home owners across a wide range of budgets and, with a large number of different house types set to be introduced, there really is something for everyone at the site.”
A part exchange scheme will be available, as well as Help to Buy, the government-backed scheme designed to help buyers take their next step on the property ladder.
