Witness appeal after head-on collision near Buxton leaves three people hospitalised

The collision involved a red Jaguar XK and a dark blue Mercedes Benz E240, and happened at about 6pm on Friday, July 22.

The driver and a passenger of the Jaguar and the driver of the Mercedes were taken to hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries and have since been discharged.

Police closed the road for about three hours while the cars were recovered an initial investigation was carried out.

Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed either car being driven in the area before the collision took place.
