Healthwatch Derbyshire is an independent organisation representing the views of the Derbyshire public on health and social care services.

Since the launch of its online feedback system in October, more than 500 people have reported their experiences – good and bad – and flagged up issues when accessing health and social care services in the county.

Healthwatch Derbyshire chief executive officer Karen Ritchie explained that the online feedback system addressed some people’s reluctance to go directly to a provider with concerns.

The Healthwatch feedback system can be found at www.healthwatchderbyshire.co.uk
