A history exhibition is being held in Flash next month.
Organised by local historian Margaret Parker, the exhibition in Flash Village Hall is open every day from August 31 to September 14 with admission free.
The event is being supported by Discover Buxton, who have hired a minibus to help get anyone interested to the exhibition.
The cost is £10 and will include a guided historical sightseeing tour. Leaving from outside Buxton Opera House at 2pm, the tour will stop at Burbage, Ladmanlow, Cisterns Clough and near to the source of the Dove, mimicking the kind of Victorian day out which would have been taken by pony and trap.
The exhibition at Flash will give additional insights into the four stopping places as well as offering a glimpse of a bygone age in the highest village in England.
There are only 14 seats available on the minibus so early booking is recommended. Contact Discover Buxton on 01298 79648 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Discover Buxton owner Netta Christie is also supporting the Heritage Open Days on September 11 to 14 by leading a free tour into Buxton’s Crescent.
