VIDEO: Bike star hits right note at Disley care home opening
MOTO GP star and talented musician James Toseland hit all the right notes when he visited Disley this week.
The double world champion officially opened Bowerfield Court and Bowerfield House and entertained residents with a performance on the piano as well as taking part in a question and answer session.
Bowerfield Court, which was completed in January 2009, has been designed with the requirements of physically disabled adults in mind, and belongs to the Maria Mallaband Care Group.
The two-storey property accommodates up to 40 residents in single ensuite bedrooms, decorated to a high standard and including fully fitted furniture.
Bowerfield House is reopening after an extensive refurbishment and has been designed specifically for elderly residents diagnosed with dementia. Located next to Bowerfield Court, it accommodates 27 residents in luxurious single ensuite bedrooms.
