Train is damaged

BRITISH Transport Police is appealing for witnesses after a group of men damaged a train.

Several groups of men boarded the 8.45pm Manchester Piccadilly to Sheffield train at Edale, Hope, Bamford, Hathersage and Grindleford on Thursday, December 20, and met each other in the first carriage.

As the train approached Sheffield, the men smashed a light and punched holes into the overhead luggage racks.
