Lauryn Higgins-Brown, Abbie Ingleby and Amy Powell from 1st Buxton (United Reformed Church) Guides have completed their Baden Powel Challenge, the highest award available for Girl Guides.

During the last 20 months they have achieved their cook, survival, community action and world guiding badges, organised a games night for guides, an American themed night for brownies and a Mad Hatters tea party for rainbows. They also attended the TRAD PAD camp last April and planted vegetables in the church garden. As part of the challenge they raised £230 for Nightstop by organising an sleepover bike ride.
