PLANS for the 2009 Tideswell Wakes are gathering pace after this year's royalty were unveiled.
Taking the role of Queen will be Hannah Birch with Princess Lucy Jellis, Rosebud Rachel Shirt and Little Gem Courtney Flint.
The Blessing of the Wells takes place on Saturday June 20 at 3pm followed by the crowning of the 2009 Royalty, which will take place in St John the Baptist Church at 4pm.
The Carnival procession is on Saturday June 27 at 3pm.
