Floristry students made a kind gesture when they made a special Mothers’ Day donation.

The students, who are studying for a City and Guilds level two certificate in floristry at the Derbyshire County Council Adult Education Centre at Fairfield, made floral arrangements which were then donated to Chapel-en-le-Frith’s Blythe House Hospice.

Tutor Zara Reid said: “We chose to donate the floral arrangements to Blythe House as its’s a local and recognised charity and we thought the patients would get the most from them.”
