Sponsorship boost for food event

Derbyshire’s premier culinary celebration has been boosted with the continuation of a major sponsorship deal.

Elvaston Castle is hosting Derbyshire County Council’s annual Derbyshire Food and Drink Fair for the first time on May 18 and 19.

Thousands of people are expected to attend over the two days – with over 150 stallholders selling produce from Derbyshire and further afield.

Cook, author and broadcaster Valentine Warner and TV chef Rosemary Shrager will stage cookery demonstrations alongside local chefs in the fair’s popular cookery theatre. McArthurGlen East Midlands Designer Outlet is sponsoring the cookery theatre for the second year running.
