Making something out of nothing has helped raise £150 for Blythe House Hospice in Chapel-en-le-Frith.

Year nine design technology students at Chapel-en-le-Frith High School were challenged to make their own products, ranging from snow globes to jewellery, money boxes and full-sized furniture, to sell at their Christmas shopping evening in aid of the hospice.

Students Maisie Goddard and Harry Bradshaw recently visited Blythe House to present a cheque for £150 from the sale to Lucy Marsden, on behalf of the hospice.
