Series of religious lectures is launched
Religious and educational groups are joining forces to launch an annual series of lectures in Buxton.
This Tuesday, March 12, will see the first in the series of talks organised by Churches Together in Buxton and the University of Derby Chaplaincy.
Professor Jolyon Mitchell, formerly a producer and journalist with the BBC World Service, will be speaking on the topic ‘Promoting Peace, Inciting Violence – The Role of Religion and Media’.
The lecture starts at 6.30pm in room DO/G04 of the Devonshire Dome and will be followed by light refreshments.
