Buxton youngsters Dan Clayton and Sid Morris look set to be heading for a world record.

The pair organised a World’s Largest Cream Tea event at the Devonshire Dome as part of their fundraising for a trip by Buxton Community School students to Ghana next summer.

The record to beat was 403 people and the Buxton event saw over 510 people taking part. The pair are now waiting for verification of the record from Guinness and would like to thank everyone who supported them.
