The carnival, organised by Bradwell Parish Council, saw a variety of events from five-a-side football to a colourful parade.
Along with many other traditions, young royalty from surrounding villages wore their best outfits and attended the carnival in style.

Hide AdPaul Downing, chair of Bradwell Parish Council, said: “I honestly believe it was the best carnival yet.
“There was such a great turn out this year. It is very important to me that all the villagers get involved as it is a great way of engaging the community.”
The carnival also had collections for Macmillan Cancer Support, local schools and Mountain Rescue.
Today, Bradwell will host a family treasure hunt followed by a street fair along with other activities throughout the week before closing the event on Saturday with a comedy night in the Parish hall.
