Nursing home brings the beach to Buxton

Residents and guests at Portland Nursing Home made the most of Buxton’s Indian summer on Saturday at a fundraising ‘beach’ party.

The event raised £415 towards the cost of a fish tank for its lounge, and was aided by £75 from exotic pet store The Jungle.
