Residents of Chapel-en-le-Frith will now find it easier to access council services thanks to a pilot scheme with the town’s post office.

High Peak Borough Council is offering one-stop shop services at the Market Place centre between 9.30am and 1pm every Thursday for two months.

Cllr Tim Norton said: “The whole idea is to make it easier for people to find out information about our services or to carry out their transactions with the council.”
