MP supports students sleeping out to raise cash for charity

MP Andrew Bingham visited students taking part in National Citizenship Service (NCS) last week, as they prepared to sleep out in Buxton. The kind-hearted students were raising awareness, money or rescources to support of charities Pround Trust, Nightstop, and The Grapevine Wellbeing Centre.

Andrew was contacted by Molly Glinn, one of the 15 students taking part in the NCS. So far they have raised £300 through their sponsorship page, www.gofundme.com/2e8hw7g.

Andrew said: “I’ve always been a big supporter of the National Citizenship Service since it first started. It’s a great way of getting young people involved in their community and really learning about different aspects of life. All the kids I’ve spoken to about it say what a good thing it is, and I’m happy to support it each year.”
