Man arrested after indecent assault on train
A MAN has been arrested in connection with an indecent assault on a Glossop-bound train.
British Transport Police officers arrested a 53-year-old, from Broadbottom, at the weekend, following an incident on board the busy 5.15pm train from Manchester Piccadilly to Glossop on March 17.
He has since been bailed to reappear on May 7 pending further enquiries.
Detective Chief Inspector Malcolm McKinnon, from the British Transport Police, said: "I'd like to thank the public for their assistance to date and ask anyone with further information to come forward."
