Jolly good time at art show

ONE hundred and sixty interesting paintings formed Whaley Bridge Art Group's annual exhibition.

At the town's Uniting Church the public bought mixed media, watercolour and pastel paintings drawn by the group's members.

The group raised around 150 which is to be used to support the club which meets every week.

Enid Phillips from the group said: "I'd like to say thank you to everyone who painted and everyone who bought the paintings.

"Everyone had a jolly good time."
