Historic farmhouse plan praised

COUNCILLORS agreed to go along with the recommendations of their planning officers and not their conservation officer over plans to extend a Grade II listed farmhouse.

Members of High Peak’s Development Control Committee, were impressed with the quality of renovation work already carried out at New House Farm in Whaley Bridge.

They approved the removal of a lean to and for it to be replaced with a two storey side extension.
