Help to find out about community groups

Residents looking to find out about local community groups are being urged to try the re-launched Derbyshire Directory, a service provided by Derbyshire County Council.

More than 3,000 groups and clubs including sports clubs, dancing and singing groups, breakfast clubs, support groups and lots more community groups, charities and voluntary organisations are listed on Derbyshire Directory.

Councillor Andrew Lewer, Leader of DCC, said: “Local community groups are at the heart of life in Derbyshire and the Derbyshire Directory is a great way for residents to find out more about them.”

Search the Derbyshire Directory online at www.derbyshire.gov.uk/directory. Local organisations can list themselves on the directory.
