High Peak residents are being urged to have their say on the borough’s local plan.
The document will shape development across the area until 2031 and a further round of consultation on the plan has now been launched by High Peak Borough Council.
Locals are being asked to have their say on a number of changes to the plan including: increasing the number of homes that should be built; considering additional sites that could be allocated for housing development; minor changes to the green belt; other changes to land designated for employment, retail, education or green spaces and some significant policy changes relating to retailing, parking and the environment.
The consultation document is available at www.highpeak-consult.object.co.uk/portal, or at Buxton Town Hall, Glossop Municipal Buildings or any library in the borough.
People should respond to the consultation by February 10 by having their say online, by email to LDF@highpeak.gov.uk or in writing to: Regeneration, High Peak Borough Council, Town Hall, Buxton, Derbyshire, SK17 6EL.
