Harpur's playtime
WORK to transform Harpur Hill Play Area is due to start on Monday and should be complete by the end of July in time for the school holidays.
Local residents had the chance to put forward their views and suggestions at various consultation events and through questionnaires.
The improvements will include new state-of-the-art equipment for toddlers and juniors and a new safety surface.
The play area will close while the work, funded by the BIG Lottery and Derbyshire County Council Playbuilder money, is carried out by High Peak Borough Council.
