Guided by the stars
BURBAGE and St Annes guides have been rubbing shoulders with television stars during charity work for East Cheshire Hospice.
The youngsters got a chance to meet the stars of Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks, while helping out at the hospice's summer fete earlier this month.
It formed part of the Guides' Change The World Project, which aims to help raise awareness, as well as funds, for chosen charities.
Guide Leader Lesley Crowther said: "East Cheshire Hospice does a fantastic job, giving help and support to patients as well as their families.
"The girls have been busy raising funds for the hospice through their midnight walk, talent show and coffee evening. "
