Chapel-en-le-Frith’s Blythe House Hospice has been presented with a donation of £2,000 by the Worshipful Master of Buxton Freemasons Lodge, Roy Salthouse and Charity Officer, Howard Hodgkinson.

The donation came from the proceeds of a ball held last year which was then match funded by the Derbyshire Provincial Grand Charity.

Roy said: “Supporting local charities remains very important to Freemasons in Derbyshire. The work of Blythe House is exceptional – but continuous financial support really is necessary to ensure such a dedicated service.”
