Free transport will be available for youths in Fairfield in a bid to encourage more people to get involved in an innovative football training scheme.

Every Friday, from January 24 to March 28, there will be a free mini bus available from the Sure Start Children’s Centre on Victoria Park Road, Fairfield, to the Goalz training project.

Led by coaches from Stockport County FC Community Foundation, the free programme is open to youngsters aged between ten and 17 and runs weekly at Buxton Community School between 6pm and 9pm.

Transport will be available for seven people and will be run on a first come, first served basis with pick-up from the children’s centre at 5.45pm.
