Jack and the Beanstalk opens on January 24 at New Mills Art Theatre. Oh yes it does!
With the help of the Good Fairy, Jack must climb the beanstalk to seek fame, fortune and save the village folk of Aerboria from Giant Blunderbuss and the evil Mr Fleshcreep.
Dame Trot, Buttercup the cow, Princess Jasmine and many other characters are there to help Jack as the battle between good and evil unfolds once again – in true panto style!
Colourful sets, costumes, lots of singing and dancing and plenty of panto jokes can’t fail to make great live entertainment.
Back by popular demand there will be an extra matinee this year on January 26 at 2.15pm.
The Friends of the Art Theatre have an excellent reputation for producing many wonderful family pantomimes and Jack and the Beanstalk is no exception - a traditional pantomime at its best, full of fun and laughs for all the family.
The theatre has a 500 seater auditorium and a licensed bar and has been entirely run and supported by society volunteers for over 50 years, providing live entertainment for the community.
All profits from ticket sales go back into the upkeep of the theatre. To find out more, visit the theatre’s website at arttheatre.co.uk.
