Councillors’ boost for cancer charity

After a fund raiser at Cavendish Golf Club for Buxton Independant Group John Faulkner, Linda Baldry and Bob Morris made a donation to Eilish Colclough representing Target Ovarian Cancer

A fundraising lunch held by supporters of Buxton Independent councillors Linda Baldry and John Faulkner has raised £425 for the charity Target Ovarian Cancer.

Local resident Eilish Colclough, who suffers from the disease, is a campaigner for the charity and has attended Parliament on several occasions.

The councillors said they were pleased to be able to support the charity and a local resident.
