High Peak Borough Council has launched another round of consultation on its long-awaited local plan.

Residents are now being asked for their views on a number of potential changes including: the number of homes that should be built across the borough up to 2031; options for sites that could be allocated for housing development; minor green belt amendments; other changes to land designated for employment, retail, education or their environmental value and significant changes to police.

The consultation is running until February 10.

The local plan will shape development across the borough until 2031. To view the consultation, call in to Buxton Town Hall or Glossop Municipal Buildings, visit any library, or see the website www.highpeak-consult.objective.co.uk/portal.

Alternatively, you can email LDF@highpeak.gov.uk or have your say by post by writing to Regeneration, High Peak Borough Council, Town Hall, Buxton, Derbyshire, SK17 6EL.

The submission version of the plan will be published in April and the local plan is expected to be adopted in February 2015.
